I love making light red wines and in 2022 we brought in some syrah from Demetria that we left on the skins for only 4 days before pressing with the idea that we would see how it tasted.  We have made grenache, pinot and zinfandel like this but wanted to see how syrah would do and it is glorious!  Jenn tasted it and put together a lovely label inspired by the light red color and subtle green herbaceous notes.  When Emily and I saw the label we knew it needed a cool name and couldn’t quickly come up with anything compelling.  Then DOTS came to mind, Don’t Over Think Shit!  Throw a few of these in the cooler at your next BBQ.
