Chenin blanc is such a versatile grape. Great examples can be found of dry, sweet and sparkling from many places worldwide.  In California it is planted in pretty much every growing region and is growing in popularity each year.  Here in Santa Barbara County there are a couple of older vineyards and because of a growing interest for the wines there have actually been a few new plantings. 

This was the second crop for these young vines and it was a real pleasure to work with such a well cared for site.  This wine has very mineral characteristics, with a light lemon scent on the nose.
